About me
Sarah Natasya started piano lesson as her first music education at the age of 5. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Musicology from the Jakarta Institute of Arts in 2015 and her Master of Arts in 2017. She has studied piano performance under the guidance of Kuei Pin Yeo, Ananda Sukarlan, and Nicholas Ong. She has been teaching piano for 11 years, and is currently a lecturer of piano at the Jakarta Institute of Arts. Besides teaching, Sarah is also the music director and founder of the Simfonia Nusantara Orkestra which has performed in events held by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kementerian Agama).

Simfonia Nusantara Orchestra
Simfonia Nusantara Orchestra was established in February 2018 by Sarah Natasya, as the founder, arranger and music director. The main mission of Simfonia Nusantara Orchestra is to give Indonesian youth a valuable experience in performing in an orchestra. Simfonia Nusantara Orchestra has performed in private and corporate events as well as concerts in prestigious venues such as Erasmus Huis, Balai Resital Kertanegara, Goethehaus, and many others. Besides that, Simfonia Nusantara Orchestra also performed on several national and international events, such as “Musyawarah Besar Pemuka Agama Untuk Kerukunan Bangsa” which was held by The Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (2018 and 2019), and Pre-Closing Ceremony of Asian Games 2019 at Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.

International Summer Music Program
2020 and 2022
International Summer Music Program 2020 and 2022 is an online summer music program directed by Sarah Natasya, Music Director and Lecturer of Piano from Indonesia, together with her team. The program presents a unique opportunity for students aged 7-17 to experience a variety of music activities where they will receive live instruction from our experienced teaching artists from around the world. Limited class sizes will allow students to meet new people and build friendships.
This program was held 3 times in 2020 and July 2022.
